Reed Wilson, owner and president, holds a BFA degree from Wittenberg University and has been in the energy conservation business for over 30 years. He has been a Florida State Certified Solar Contractor since 1989 and is a Florida State Certified Pool Contractor. Additionally Reed is a state certified Building Energy Rater and is certified by the National Comfort Institute in HVAC airflow diagnostics and balancing.
Recently, he received certification to install Nutone Air Conditioners 24 SEER High Efficiency Systems. Reed is on the board of directors of the Florida Solar Industry Association (FLASEIA) and is one of the founding members of the Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy (FARE). He serves on the Board of Adjustments and Appeals in Lee County as the Solar Energy Specialist.

Reed is a Florida State Certified Energy Rater. With this certification, FL Green Team is able to do energy audits for homes and precisely determine where you are wasting energy and provide cost effective solutions.
In the event we produce more electricity than we are using, the meter runs backwards and the utility company buys the power from us.
